March 14/15 (Laetare Sunday): Catholic Relief Services Collection (shared with Church in Central & Eastern Europe)
April 3 (Good Friday): Pontifical Good Friday Collection for the Holy Land
April 25/26: Catholic Home Missions Appeal (shared with Black & Indian Missions)
May 16/17: Catholic Communication Campaign 50% will remain in our diocese to help support local communication efforts
June 6/7: St. Clare Facilities Maintenance Ministries
June 27/28: Peter’s Pence Collection (Collection for the Holy Father)
July 11/12: Missionary Cooperative Appeal (all funds collected throughout the Diocese will be equally divided among the 50 missionary organizations visiting the Diocese of Sacramento in 2026) Ministries
August 8/9: Church in Latin America
September 12/13: Diocesan Collection for Priests Retirement
October 3/4: St. Clare Facilities Maintenance Ministries
October 17/18: World Mission Sunday
November 8/9: Collection for the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA (every third year)
November 14/15: Catholic Campaign for Human Development 25% will remain in our diocese to help support our local anti-poverty efforts
December 12/13: Retirement Fund for Religious
Additional Opportunities for Support
CRS Rice Bowl: Will be held during Lent, February 18 to April 2 for the benefit of Catholic Relief Services. 25% will remain in our Diocese to help support our local anti-poverty efforts.
2025 Catholic Appeal: Commitment Weekend will be held February 21/22 or February 28/March 1 unless otherwise instructed. 25% is returned to the donor’s parish to help support local social service ministries.
