Any child between the ages of 7 and 17 who is unbaptized, and wishes to become Catholic, should begin the process by speaking with our Faith Formation Staff.

Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA) Adapted for Children

• For children and youth who are seven years and older, who have not been baptized, our parish offers a two-year program. There is no fee for OCIA.

• The first year of preparation, parents and child will:
  • Attend monthly Family Catechesis in-person sessions
  • Complete home lessons
  • Attend Mass and parish additional events

• The second year of preparation, parents and child will: 
  • Attend in person sessions twice a month 
  • Complete home lessons
  • Attend events such as OCIA rites and retreat
  • Attend Mass and parish additional events
