HALLOW Pray40 this Lent — Journey Together in Prayer
This Lent, we invite you to join Hallow’s Lent Pray40 prayer challenge, that began on Ash Wednesday, February 18. You can still join after Ash Wednesday. Available on our parish page in the Hallow app — with or without a subscription — Lent Pray40 is an opportunity for our entire parish community to journey together in daily prayer and reflection throughout Lent.
A Kids’ Lent Challenge will also be available on our parish page starting on Ash Wednesday, offering families with children an engaging and meaningful way to experience Lent together.

Volunteer Positions Available
Whether you are a new parishioner or a seasoned veteran here at St Clare Catholic Church, you are encouraged to “Love and Serve God” in ministry work. Many opportunities exist for you to apply your gifts and to help those in our community.
Prayerfully consider your situation and ask for God's help to guide you. Please give special consideration to the John 11 Ministry, a ministry devoted to caring for the families who have the difficult task of burying someone they love. You may contact St Clare Parish staff at (916) 772-4717 to ask about other very important ministries and their contact information.

St. Clare offers many different opportunities for returning your gifts of time and talent to God. As stewards of God-given skills and abilities, volunteering in a ministry or organization provides a way to thank God, share your faith with others, and enhance our community.

Rosary Opportunity
There are several groups at St. Clare that pray the rosary. One group prays the rosary before Mass, another after the daily Masses, and other groups throughout the parish pray the rosary at different times.Our prayer is that you connect with one of those groups. However, if you are looking for a group to suit your needs, please consider joining the Monday evening Rosary Prayer Group via zoom at 7:00 PM. We pray the rosary primarily for our nation and our church… but we also pray for many intentions. After the rosary, we pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet and end with the Litany to St. Joseph. Consider serving as a Reader, Altar Server, Eucharistic Minister, Art and Environment Minister, Sacristan, Usher, Funeral Ministry, Wedding Coordinator or Music Minister.
